Your getaway includes a horse riding adventure through pristine wilderness and pastures. This is the perfect one-night escape for anyone who loves fresh country air and a chance to relax and unwind. After your hot breakfast served on the lawn, you can grab a book and read, or grab a camera and wander to capture the moment. This experience is the ultimate Australian getaway, combining a bed-and-breakfast retreat with an exhilarating horse riding trail ride. Set in the beautiful Megalong Valley in the Blue Mountains, it sits just below the rugged, majestic sandstone cliffs and has views of the winding Cox's River. Yet it is serene and tranquil with vast stretches of pasture land and pristine wilderness areas nearby. Your overnight stay includes a two-hour guided horse ride, which you can choose to participate in on either day. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner, you'll be matched with a horse that compliments your level of riding experience. We have over 20 horses of differing temperaments for you to choose from. Your trail ride leaves from the farmyard and meanders through paddocks, along ridges and down through the wilderness. You will see plenty of horses, cattle and sheep along the way. You may also be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of some of the native animals that live here - wallabies, kangaroos, goannas or wombats. |
