How do I  get there? 
You  can travel either by bus or train or by your own car. You can choose to stay at Katoomba the night before, or travel straight up from Sydney as the Centre is just 2 hours from Sydney central .   You will be picked up at Blackheath station taken down through the rainforest to the property ready for the start of your Jackaroo Experience!

Insurance

We endeavor to look out for your safety and we take your well being very seriously at our Centre.    It is important though to accept there is an element of risk and you are required to have comprehensive travel and health insurance.

How to book & pay:

To make a booking, please visit our website and download a booking form, or contact your travel agent.Complete your application form and you will need to pay $195 deposit to book your space.

(Balance will be due 4 weeks prior to course)

If you cancel your booking less than 30 days prior to course, fees will be charged. See website for details

Cancellations

In the event of cancellation, the following fees are applicable:

More than 30 days -10%
Between 30 days and 7 days - 50%
Within 7 days - 100%

Arrival dates:

There are various starting dates each month, so see the further information for this programme or contact your travel agent  for details. If arriving from overseas it is best to get over your flight before commencing the course.

Once you have gained skills and lots of confidence to tackle the great Aussie outdoors, there is plenty of opportunities and we’re there to help you search for a great  job.

Who is eligible to apply?

For an  adventure with a difference in Australia,  you cant beat this programme.   You don't need any experience,  your age doesn't matter, nor does your nationality.   

 If  you are looking for an exciting job in the rural areas of Australia or just want to have a great holiday, this is the program is for you.

What if I live outside Australia?

To be eligible for the working holiday visa if you are from overseas you must be : being aged between 18 and 30, have no dependents, be a citizen of a country named in the working holiday maker reciprocal arrangements,posses a return ticket or sufficient funds for a return or onward fare as well as sufficient funds for the first part of your stay. The visa allows you to  stay up to 12 months plus another 12 months. You are allowed to do any kind of work of a temporary or casual nature, and you can work with each employer for up to six months.

How far in advance do I need to apply?

We would recommend you apply at least 8 weeks in advance due to the availability of places.

Is there a minimum age limit:

Under 18’s from Australia are accepted depending on riding level. Maximum age is dependant upon  participant’ s health
